Cobbs has been established since 2002 and the main side of Cobbs business is Cobbs cakes. I used to assist my mother and father delivering cakes out the back of our car. Since then the company has grown remarkably. We bake cakes 24 hours a day 7 days a week employing over 30 bakers from the village of Drumnadrochit. We distribute throughout Scotland to cafés, coffee shops, takeaways, hospitals, un

iversities and visitor attractions. There are now over 110 products in our range and everything is baked to traditional recipes using natural ingredients without additives, preservatives or hydrogenated vegetable oils. In addition, we also now cater for the growing demand for gluten free and vegan diets. Obviously we will be stocking a lot of Cobbs cakes and goodies. So come round for a coffee, cake, bit of criac and hear more about the Cobbs story.

At Cuthbert’s, we pride ourselves on being a "home from home" for our regulars, serving up everything from breakfast baps and handmade sandwiches to premium coffee in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Be Doing:

● Leading the Team: Motivating our friendly staff to deliver exceptional service every day.

● Operational Excellence: Managing daily deli operations, from till processing to inventory support.

● Customer Connection: Being the friendly face our Marchmont community knows and loves.

● Supporting Growth: Working closely with management to keep the cafe thriving during the busy Fringe season and beyond.

What We’re Looking For:

○ Previous experience in a hospitality or retail management role.

○ A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

○ Strong communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for local business and high-quality deli food.

We are so excited to introduce you to our new menu! To celebrate, we’re starting a daily series where we’ll be giving you a front-row seat to our favorite dishes.

Kickstarting Day 1 is a dish that's as vibrant as it is delicious:

The Shakshouka

There’s a reason this is a fan favorite. We slow-simmer a chunky sauce of tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers, then poach two eggs right into the mix. Finished with salty crumbled feta and served with thick toasted sourdough, it’s the ultimate "clean the plate" meal.
