They’re back… and Granton is ready to celebrate!

The swifts have returned, slicing through the skies with their unmistakable call, bringing with them the feeling that summer has truly arrived. After travelling thousands of miles, these incredible birds have come home once again… and Granton is welcoming them with open arms.

This week, our Make and Mingle group (along with others) were busy crafting a beautiful handmade banner to display outside our community building showing our appreciation for these remarkable travellers.

And the celebrations don't stop there...

Hi folks,

We're back open tomorrow from 10am-1pm with all the usuals : bread, buns, teas, tinctures, eggs, pasta, flour and mushrooms.
We also have frozen pizza dough and egg whites.

Alongside our cinnamon buns, the sweet buns this week feature jam made from some beautiful rhubarb courtesy of Granton Community Gardeners, topped with frangipane and flaked almonds 🤩 Thank you to the growers!
