Job Title: Sales Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Fergusons Home Bakery. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, as well as maintaining a clean and organised bakery. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised bakery, including display cases, shelves, and other customer areas.
- Package bakery products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including operating the cash register.
- Stock and replenish bakery products as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Age 16+
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating a cash register.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
