A few weeks on from the Midlothian & East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2026, and we've got plenty to celebrate! ✨

Saltire Hospitality Ltd was named a finalist for Service Excellence, while Saltire Patisserie took home the award for Best Innovation in Business! 🏆

And the recognition didn't stop there! Colin Beattie MSP subsequently submitted a motion to the Scottish Parliament congratulating Saltire Patisserie on its achievement and recognising the team's fantastic work. 👏

A brilliant moment for both businesses and, most importantly, the people behind them. Huge thanks to MELCC and Colin Beattie MSP for the recognition, and congratulations to all the winners and finalists!

🥐 We're looking for an experienced Baker to join the team at Saltire Patisserie in Loanhead.

Working from our purpose-built bakery, you'll join a talented team producing our range of breads, cakes and patisserie for clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, with everything shaped and finished by hand.

We're looking for someone who is creative, hardworking, driven and a great team player, with a minimum of two years' experience in the baking trade.

🍞 Full-time, 40 hours per week
📅 Tuesday to Saturday
☀️ Day shifts
💷 Salary from £29,000 per year, dependent on experience
📍 Loanhead, Midlothian
👨‍🍳 Full on-the-job training provided
