It's been a busy week with being back to school and cakes too. Here are one or two I've made. A little different to my usual style. A dramatic chocolate drip cake for an 18th birthday to start. Vanilla sponge filled and covered with chocolate gnache, then topped with every chocolate under the sun xx

Happy Birthday to Kriss, an MX5 fan! I have to give some of the credit for this lemon cake to my car fanatic, creative partner. I had to take a little step back and let him get on with it at times otherwise there may have been a fondant fight in the kitchen!
