Barton Theatre Company’s Spring Production
‘Mr Wonderful’ - and I’m in the cast !!

Next week, your local theatre company is playing at the beautiful community space in Eccles Town Hall

This tender, tragi-comic story is set in 1990’s Manchester and tells the story of two women, connected - and divided - by love, laughter and tears.

The bar is open from 45 mins before the play start times and also after each evening show, so you are welcome to stay and say hello.

Here is What's on for May 26 - The Hub Cawdor Street Eccles M30 0GB

27th April – Evening Book club at The Hub from 7pm, we had a good chat about Little Women, set the world to rights. The next book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

14th May – Craft evening at The Hub from 7pm – We are learning how to press flowers for a further project in Sept, bring along some small flowers and foliage from the garden of you like, we are supplying a small selection on the evening

16th May – Reflexology workshop at The Hub 1400pm – 1600pm, where we are introduced to this, ear seeding, and techniques. This is the first of our workshops for the year

21st May – Main branch meeting at The Hub from 7pm – speaker on the History of Christie's

28th May – Supper club – we are out at Tom Yam in Monton

We are in the process of setting up further workshops for 2026 and 2027, including wellbeing classes and craft and art workshops. Ladies, if you are interested in attending one of our meetings or subgroups, or would like to know more about what we do. 2nd March - Evening book club review of Bridge of Spies by Giles, as well as a really good natter and setting the world to right!, The next book read is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

6th March -7pm Cinema club social at The Hub - We are watching Yul Bryner & Deborah Kerr The King and I

12th March - Craft evening at The Hub - Wine glass painting using acrylic paints, and stencil.

14th March - Trip out to TextStyle - fibre and textile festival in Manchester.

19th March - Branch meeting - Speaker is Frances - Unmentionables– A History of Ladies' Underwear

26th March - Supper Club at The Woodside Ellenbrook
