What's on for June 2026

11th June - 7pm at The Hub Craft Conversations, bring along a craft project you wish to work on or finish, or just come along for a brew and a chat

18th June - 7pm at The Hub Branch Meeting - our speaker is Robin Taylor, who is a shoe designer.

25th June - 7pm Supper club - The Waterside Monton

6th July - 7pm at The Hub, Evening book club Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

We have booked the coach for the Southport Trip on the 22nd August, for those who are going, more information will follow shortly.

Watch this space !, we have in the pipeline a picnic in the park and a Bingo social night. More information to follow

Barton Theatre Company’s Spring Production
‘Mr Wonderful’ - and I’m in the cast !!

Next week, your local theatre company is playing at the beautiful community space in Eccles Town Hall

This tender, tragi-comic story is set in 1990’s Manchester and tells the story of two women, connected - and divided - by love, laughter and tears.

The bar is open from 45 mins before the play start times and also after each evening show, so you are welcome to stay and say hello.

Saturday 23rd May 7-30pm and 2pm

Here is What's on for May 26 - The Hub Cawdor Street Eccles M30 0GB

27th April – Evening Book club at The Hub from 7pm, we had a good chat about Little Women, set the world to rights. The next book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

14th May – Craft evening at The Hub from 7pm – We are learning how to press flowers for a further project in Sept, bring along some small flowers and foliage from the garden of you like, we are supplying a small selection on the evening

16th May – Reflexology workshop at The Hub 1400pm – 1600pm, where we are introduced to this, ear seeding, and techniques. This is the first of our workshops for the year

21st May – Main branch meeting at The Hub from 7pm – speaker on the History of Christie's

28th May – Supper club – we are out at Tom Yam in Monton

We are in the process of setting up further workshops for 2026 and 2027, including wellbeing classes and craft and art workshops.
