I’M BACK, BABY!! If you’ve missed me (and lets me honest, you have 😂), you can find me at the next St Helens market with on Saturday 16th May 🩷 you might even get to meet my new boss if you’re lucky, but don’t worry he won’t be involved in any baking as he has to learn not to lick the spoon 🙊

Henry is happy to announce the winner of his sweepstake…and it is Rebecca Todd 🏅🍰 The only person to guess the correct date, and only 5lb off the weight!

I may have been a bit ambitious about starting markets again this month. This little guy is cute but very demanding 😂 so there isn’t much time to bake, but I’ll get the winning cake baked somehow! And I’ll be back as soon as I have more than 30 seconds with my hand free 🙈

Introducing Henry James Cooke, born on 22nd November at 11.47pm weighing 7lb13oz 💙 after a 2 week stay stay in NICU, we finally made it home today and he looks forward to meeting you at the markets next year 🥰 once we’re settled in I’ll go through the baby sweepstake from the last market and announce the winner 🥇

Well that’s a wrap on markets for me for 2025 and what a way to finish…my best market of the year and almost a sell out!!

There was a lot of baby talk, and you guys loved the sweepstake so stay tuned to find out if you are the winner 🥇 and a lovely cake will be coming your way when I’m back in the new year 🤤

Thank you to all of my lovely customers as always ❤️ and of course to my market family for being the best, and looking after me, doing the heavy lifting and covering the stall for the many toilet breaks 😂 and a big shout out to the best husband for giving up his weekend lie ins to help…easing him into the sleepless nights slowly!!

Congratulations to Emma & John who trusted me to make their wedding cake for Friday 💞
It wasn’t the easiest thing to make when 33 weeks pregnant but the end result was 🤩

Bottom tier: raspberry and white chocolate
Middle tier: Biscoff
Top tier: salted caramel

Topped off with the cutest cake topper to ever exist 🐾

7 weeks to go 🤰 so it’s almost time for maternity leave to start…but you can still catch me this Saturday at Birchwood Shopping Centre, and my last market (for a while!) will be on Saturday 18th at The Conny Club in Penketh/great Sankey 🤩😬

What a way to do a relaunch! Thank you to Lisa, Caroline and John from Independent Street for running the day so smoothly, and to the Conservative Club for welcoming us (and for the delicious breakfasts!)

Thank you to every one of the customers who had faith in us and followed us to our new home, even in the horrible rain ☔️ It made coming out worth it today, even when I was feeling rubbish with the lurgy!

See you all again next month…the last market for me until after Baby Cooke arrives 😍

Meet Tori – The Vet Who Bakes! 🐾🍰

Just as her name suggests, Tori is a talented Vet who also happens to bake the most exceedingly good cakes (and not a Mr Kipling in sight!). Every batch is home baked, fresh, and utterly delicious.

Tori has been a much-loved part of our Sankey market family for many years, becoming a staple of the circuit and a firm favourite with visitors.

We’re so excited to showcase her at our brand-new venue launch at the Penketh Con Club on Sept 20th 🎉

👶💗 And here’s some extra sweet news… Tori is also baking her very own little bun in the oven! So, be sure to stock up on her cakes before she takes a well-deserved maternity leave.
