My toughest customer yet! 😰

This customer was tricky right from the start…
She ordered a year in advance (without paying any deposit!) and changed her mind almost weekly on the theme/design.

Every time I thought we had the cake design locked in, another ‘small adjustment’ request came in 💀

I kept thinking ‘this is the final version’.

Spoiler: it was never the final version 😭

She became VERY particular about the tiniest details. It turns out the EXACT shade of brown was incredibly important.

And after all this, still no payment, just endless requests.

But after spending hours on shaping and decorating this cake, into the early hours, the birthday date finally arrived and it was time for them to see the cake…

Seeing the look on my daughters’ face (and the squeals of glee) when I present her with her cake made it all worth it! 🎂

‘I didn’t think it would be THAT good!!’

I’ll take that as a big win! 😂 ❤️

The weather last weekend definitely added a little extra stress to the creation & delivery of this beauty, but absolutely thrilled with how she turned out. And what a day for a wedding it was ☀️
