Happy World Book Day! 📚 📖
For those of you who don't know me: Hi I'm Anya, I'm a full time teacher who make cakes as my favourite hobby! For world book day my school hosted a staff cake competition so it would be rude not to enter!
My favourite books as a teen were the Hunger games trilogy, so here is my homage to everything District 12!

This cake felt like a technical challenge but I loved every second of it! 💪
A traditional Hungarian Dobos Torta, a 6 layer vanilla sponge cake with a custard chocolate buttercream, topped with crunchy caramel and toasted almonds 😍
