Build your own easter bake box 🐣💝

PRE ORDER!! WILL BE DELIVERED BEFORE EASTER WEEKEND. (Start to middle of the week* starting 14th April)

This Easter we will be offering a variety of different bakes! You can build your own box choosing from the bakes below: (£15 MINIMUM spend) - choose as many of each as you would like or even one of each to create your own custom box!

✨ ‘mini egg’ bakery style cookies - £2 each
✨ splat brownies - £2 each
✨ birthday cookies (sprinkles and party rings) - £2 each
✨ brownie scotch egg - £6 each
✨ deep dish triple choc brownie cookies (deep dish cookies filled with brownie and topped with ‘mini eggs’, sprinkes and v white choc) - £4 each

All vegan bakes.

Hey everyone! 👋 Sorry for the small break, we have been dealing with health issues but are BACK to bring you some delicious vegan bakes 🌿😍

This week we have another mixed treat box - these boxes will be baked fresh to order to be delivered at the end of next week 📦✨

It will include of of each of the following:

• Biscoff stuffed cookie 🍪
• Chocolate hazelnut brownie 🍫
• Jammie deep dish cookie 🍓
• Biscoff brownie 🤎
• White double chocolate chip cookie 🤍

This will cost only £15 including delivery for all of these treats 😍 Local delivery around Eastbourne & Postal for everywhere else in the UK!

We are still taking wholesale and bulk orders so please contact us in regards to those too!

We have decided to mix things up a bit as a trial and have temporarily taken our website down as we are thinking of doing exclusive bakes to make things a bit more exciting and want to try it out before changing the website! ✨

This means there will be different mixed boxes of treats exclusive to that week - this will save us time and reduce waste if we are producing more of the same products each week! 🌿

This is a temporary trial for the new year and it means customers can get mixed treat boxes which aren’t usually available on the website!

The Good Grub is struggling 💔 It’s been a super tough couple of months and I want to be transparent about it.

I’m not asking for sympathy or for you to drop what you’re doing and come to see us, but I think it’s important to share what owning a small business is like, especially at this time of the year 🙏

After a fabulous summer, our takings for September halved. And they’ve continued to go down. We’ve gone from an average of 80 people a day to an average of 12 people a day, but that doesn’t mean the bills have gone down too…

- From April, I’ll be paying an average of £3.50 more per hour for staff. I 100% agree with minimum wage increasing, but there’s no subsidies for small businesses, we’re expected to just find an extra £4,368 per year 🤯

- Last month putting the heating on cost us an extra £500 and we didn’t even have it on every day 😅

- Pitch fees for events this year are all above £3,500 PLUS another £500 for electricity on top 🥴

- The cost of ingredients has gone up - a jar of pickled cabbage costs us £6.49!!! And we can’t claim any VAT back on that, 20% of all our takings whether we’re in profit or not goes straight to the tax man 😪

- To be frank, our business card got declined on a £16.76 spend last week

It’s really, really difficult right now but we’re hoping we can make it through to summer and pick things up again 🤞 We would massively appreciate any support to help us make it through the next few months so please follow/like/share, anything to spread the word about TGG 🫶
