Just to confirm we are open on Chrostmas Eve up to 4pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and on the 27th. Then back open every day (including New Year's Day) until next Christmas. Looking forward to welcoming you over the Festive period whilst mince pies and Turkey roasts last!

We will be holding the wake of East Dean resident Fred Breach today and as such will be closing at 1.45pm. We apologies for any inconvenience.
Fred, most recently lived in the cottages behind the Hikers Rest but had previously lived in other houses in East Dean throughout his 99 year innings.
We look forward to making the event a special one for Fred and his family and friends.
