Hello… if there’s anyone still out there 🫶

It’s been a while, so I thought I’d share a little update - just so as not to feel ignorant really 😅

I’ve made some big decisions this year, including (probably the biggest and most relevant one) closing my little cake business.

After almost ten years of running the show, baking up a storm, and being part of so many beautiful weddings (which I still count myself so flipping lucky for btw!!), I’m just in a different chapter of my life now.

I want to spend my weekends soaking up the little laughs and big sloppy snogs from my boys, attending the tenth birthday party of the month at the same soft play, watching my eldest learn to kick a ball on Saturday mornings, and heading out on Sunday adventures as a family.

This will be the first Christmas in five years that I’m not knee-deep in wedding cakes, and honestly, I can’t wait.

I’m so grateful for every bit of support, every couple who trusted me with their big day, and every opportunity that’s come from this business. I just wanted to share a final word (and a few photos of the beautiful cakes I’ve had the joy of making recently).

I’ve got three weddings left, and come the end of May next year, that’ll be it for me - bar the odd Spider-Man/paw patrol/whatever they’re into next birthday cake here and there.

It’s been a minute 🤭 I’m still here, for now anyway! There’s been a lot going on in my life just lately; all the usual stuff - just all at once!

I apologise for my absence (and you probably won’t see this anyway as I’ll get punished by the meta-verse)

I’m very excited to be spending the day at the gorgeous Kelham House Country Manor this weekend, for their immersive open day 🤍

If you’re currently planning your wedding, but big, busy wedding fayres kinda give you the ick, then this is absolutely the event for you!

An intimate event with a select handful of incredible local suppliers. Think fizz, vibes, live music, venue tours, supplier demonstrations, wedding inspo and a big fat dessert table from yours truly 🙌

She’s back 🌷

The end of March brought with it my first wedding of the year, and what a beauty she was. The sweetest couple marrying in the divine surroundings of 🌿

Emma and Alex decided on a subtle masterpiece for their cake, with a clean white finish and glass-like petals to complement their venue styling. I absolutely loved being a little part of this big day, and it had me raring to go for my next (which is tomorrow 🤭)

SOLD! We’ve made the slightly emosh decision to sell our lovely Robin, the horse trailer. 💘 and as I have so many cakey, crafty, clever people on here, I thought I’d share it just in case she could spark a new business venture for one of you 🥰

Brand new conversion, completed in November 24 and literally used a grand total of 3 times 🤣 my decision of a career change just came at a funny time!

My littlest babe turned 1 🌞

We had a quiet, relatively normal day celebrating, just us. But of course there still had to be cake 🎂

Hello, it’s just me 👋

The last couple of months have been a change, but the loveliest kind.

I started a new job, back working in marketing. I’ve been spending the weekends with my boys, I started running, I stopped running because I hurt my knees - might try again soon! Did a few cakey bits here and there, (including being part of the incredible shoot pictured, but more to come on that soon), and this month will bring my first wedding of the year, which I’m so looking forward to! 🤍

Not sure what my plans are for the future yet. My diary is on hold at the moment as I figure out where I want to be. But I just thought I’d come and say hi, I’m alive and truthfully, I’m really enjoying this slightly slower life 🫶
