Weekend update ☔️

This was the first rainy weekend I’ve had since Butter & Crumb opened 8 weeks ago. I’ll be honest… I was very worried about sales. 😬

But you know what? I was completely blown away! 🥹

Despite the rain, slow foot traffic and very soggy conditions, I had my highest single day of sales so far! 🎉

The gazebo definitely deserves some credit too! ☔️ It kept the bake shed and the bakes sheltered from the rain, and it actually helped catch the attention of people walking past. Even though there weren’t loads of people out and about, the engagement was still fantastic.

It just goes to show that you never really know what a day is going to bring. 💕

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, bought something, chatted with me, pre-ordered bakes or cakes or simply stopped to have a look.

This little Bake Shed continues to surprise me every single weekend. 🥰🍪🧁

Bring on next weekend and some Autumn 🍂 delights.
