Firstly, I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas 🎄and a very Happy New Year ✨

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet — I’ve been soaking up every second of my baby Julia bubble 👶🏼🫧

I’ve also been getting lots of lovely messages and DMs asking when I’ll be back, so I wanted to share a little (big) update with you all…

After my maternity leave, I won’t be returning to baking as Phe’s Cakes. I’ll actually be heading back to college to begin an exciting new chapter for myself and my family 🎓💛

I am so incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported my small business over the years — from ordering, to sharing my posts, recommending me, coming to markets, sending the kindest messages. I truly have the best customers and I love you all so much — I will miss seeing you and being a part of all your special celebrations more than you know 🧁💗

Thank you for trusting me with such important moments and supporting this wee dream of mine. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has meant more to me than I can put into words 🤍
You never know… I might just find myself itching to get back into the kitchen one day, dancing around and making empire biscuits again 🧁✨💃🏼

Hi guyssss 🙋🏼‍♀️ you might be wondering why I have been so quiet on here 🤫 Something kind of major happened...👀🙈

We would like to introduce our daughter, Julia Da Prato 💖

She came flying into the world on Good Friday, the 18th April at 9.20am ⚖️ Weighing 3lb 5oz at 31 weeks.

🥺I am so sorry to everyone who has been waiting on a reply/quote. It's been a mental few weeks to say the least. To everyone who I have had to let down I do apologise, thank you for being so understanding ☺️ Especially to those of you I had to message easter weekend. Mr Phe's Cakes was even on messages to a customer while I was in labour (you know who you are 😅) You have yet again shown you are theee best customers 🩷

🙏🏻 I believe I have now contacted everyone who was in the diary til the end of May. Somehow if I have missed you 😢 please pop a message. It goes without saying I am now on Maternity leave 🤰🏼

Thanks again for your patience & the lovely messages we have received, we are taking it a day at a time and looking forward to getting our girl home when she is ready 👶🏼🏡🍼💖
