This December saw Tog Cakes’s fourth birthday and what a fantastic four years it has been!
This will, however, be my last post as a cake maker as I am hanging up my apron today for the last time. The cost of living crisis and the ever rising costs from suppliers, along with a few personal bumps in the road this year, has led to my decision, although it has not been an easy one.
Both my Facebook and Instagram pages will remain ‘open’ as I have so many cakes still to post and I will continue to update them with cakes I make for family and friends. I am also thinking about branching out into providing sugarpaste figure tutorials and perhaps creating figures for those that love to bake but perhaps aren’t confident with creating edible figures. Keep your eyes peeled for more details in 2023…
I have met some incredible people along the way and it has been a pleasure to create the many, many birthday, christening and wedding cakes that I have and I am so thankful to the support of all of my customers, past and present.
