We’re planning on running a Christmas Table Decoration Workshop & Macaron Demonstration Day here at MDM in East Farndon on Saturday 5th December in conjunction with Stem

The fun filled festive day (approximately 5.5 hours) will start at 9.30am start with a hands on Christmas Table Decoration Workshop (appx 2 hours+), which you of course create yourself with the help of Annie, and then take home with you in readiness for the festive season. Everything needed will be provided for you. There will be various styles to select from.

We will then have a “get to know each other”
Break with Bubbles and/or soft refreshments and of course Macarons followed by a Light Lunch and then a Macaron Demonstration by myself where I will make a batch of capricious Macarons and where I will pass on helpful hints if you would like to try them at home.

Each participant will leave with a box of 6 of our Santa Macarons to enjoy, together with your Christmas Table Decoration and of course my coveted Macaron recipe.

It will be a relaxed day with festive fun, creativity and nice things to eat and drink - what’s not to like? We would love to welcome you here.

Cost is £115 per person and there will only be a small number of places, a couple of which have already gone so please DM if interested.

Some news re our 5th December Christmas Florals & Macarons Day here at Maison Des Macarons.

Spaces will be limited to 7 and the day will last around 5 hours including lunch and bubbles and of course…Macarons including a Macaron Making Demonstration.

The many stages of Ivory Macarons….always a tricky shade, but we have one American size oven in the MDM Kitchen and it makes all the difference. I struggle in a standard size 60cms oven to keep the pale shade with no darkening but my Gaggenau American Size does the trick!
15 years of Macaroning teaches you a lot!

Yesterday’s Macaron Tower for a lucky little girl’s 10th birthday.

120 Macarons filled with Madagascan Vanilla, Hazelnut Praline, Sicilian Pistachio and Salted Caramel.

It’s always lovely to be part of the journey as we supplied similar for her 4th birthday too.

It was all about the “Green Ombre” yesterday at The Woodlands at Hothorpe 🌿 fir K&J’s very special day. 💚

Four layers of macaron delights with Madagascan Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sicilian Lemon & Sicilian Pistachio & Fresh Vanilla Raspberry all topped off with a Red Velvet Cake.

Big thanks to Laura | Bespoke Cake Design for the cake and Julia Dilworth for the pretty floral topper.

We will have a box of Mixed Macarons available from next Thursday, with some gorgeous Fresh Raspberry & Valrhona Chocolate with Chambord Liquer.
