Introducing my version of the picnic bar created with creamy butter, caramel and marshmallow all melted and gently folded together. I then carefully stir in juicy sultanas, salted pecans and crispy rice. They are then shaped into bars that are enrobed with my deliciously, creamy Belgian chocolate. Sooo yummy. Don't worry if you don't fancy them, because Mark and I love them. 😉 PS these will be on sale at Tesco Extra on Sunday. 😊

My latest bake. A gloriously, almondy, frangipani tart. Divinely, buttery, melt in your mouth short bread with a yummy, homemade, strawberry jam filling. I did make 12, however, there are only 5 left!!!
These will be on sale at Tesco Extra, Sunderland, on Sunday. 😊

My latest experiment a cheeky twist to the picnic bar. The filling is a mix of unsalted butter, caramel toffees and marshmallows all melted together with rice crispies, salted cashews and sultanas. All enrobed with my blend of Belgian dark and creamy milk chocolate. Absolutely yummy! 😊

Sadly there will be no Cheeky Bakes this weekend at Tesco Extra. Woke up this morning with a really sore throat and feeling really rough, no way can I bake feeling like this. 🥲 Sorry. Hopefully see you all next month. 😊

And more experiments! My version of the picnic bar made using my blended dark and milk Belgian chocolate, of course. 😉. Crispy wafer, smothered in creamy caramel all encased in smooth, Belgian chocolate and topped of with sultanas and salted peanuts absolutely smothered in, yes, you've guessed it gloriously, creamy Belgian chocolate. Yummeeee!!!

I've been experimenting with chocolate again! This time recreating one of my favourites from the past, the cabana bar. I've used organic coconut, steeped in condensed milk, with a dash of vanilla and then added some chopped glacé cherries for luck. 😉 Finally added a layer of creamy caramel. I then enrobed the mixture in my delicious blended dark and milk Belgian chocolate and topped them off with a squiggle of dark Belgian chocolate. 😊
