We’re getting ready to welcome a group of guests to The Steading for 3 nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. That means lots of picking from the gardens here at Legerwood.
- The figs are getting better and better each year.
- Homemade Damson Gin is always a winner!
- I have to be quick to pick the Brambles before the kids nab them!
- We have so many apple trees here at Legerwood. Lots are cooked and used for breakfasts and puddings, whilst the rest are pressed to make juice 🍏
- An assortment of coloured beetroot to accompany dishes on our menu. Lots of other veg we serve also comes from our garden here.
- And not forgetting the beautiful cut flower garden which is still delivering blooms by the bucketful. The best way to brighten up our holiday properties way into the Autumn 💐
