Here's one of my most favourite wedding cakes that I created for Mr & Mrs Hobellen.

I miss the chaos of working full time and meeting deadlines for cake orders. Ironically creating them used to be so relaxing for me.

Hello you gorgeous lot. Just a reminder that the business is currently closed. I'm not living in the UK at the moment.

You never know...... I may reopen when I return in a couple of year.

Oh and while some may wonder if I eventually got paid for the 90s cake made for Sarah at the end of May for her sons 21st..... the answer is no!

Some people just have no shame at all. I say that loosely as I'm fully aware money has been available but clearly not for what needed paying. New meaning to having your cake and eating it 🤣

With all my customers if they have struggled to afford a cake I've always worked within a budget for them so they could have their special day with a bespoke cake. My prices have always remained low - as this was a hobby not a full time business.

Karma is a wonderful thing though 😘

Well the time has come to officially mark the business as closed. After a couple of weeks being chaotic selling up and moving out of the UK to the Channel Islands, I've finally got chance to sit down and thank each and every one of you for the last 8 years of custom.

What started out as a way for me to be able to wind down and switch off turned into an amazing little hobby business.

Each one of my customers have given me challenges and opportunities to grow and increase my skill set over the years. You have all been absolutely amazing in giving me feedback which has helped me grow and provide a 5* service to you all.

To those I wasn't able to complete orders for before I left, I spologise for the inconvenience and hope you have managed to find an alternative caker.

Once again thankyou so much for your custom. It has truly been a privilege to provide you with your special occasion cakes, thankyou for placing your trust in me and giving me opportunities to experiment and grow.

Well the time has come to sadly wrap up the business for pastures new. This gal is moving to Guernsey!!

It has been an amazing 7 years and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your loyalty, support and business. I have truly been so thankful to all of you.

All orders will be fulfilled up to the end of July 2024.

I'm unsure as yet if cakefulness will continue on the channel islands.... but who knows what the venture may bring!

Time for change, new beginnings and some bloody sun 🤣
