I Love To Make Cakes is a home run cake making and decorating business, based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Making cakes is a passion of mine, I have been making cakes for as long as I can remember and I love what I do! I have City and Guilds in catering and have worked in the food industry for over 30 years but my passion is making cakes. I also have Sugar Craft qualifications and have won awards f

or my work. My cakes are made to the highest standard from the best ingredients and from SCRATCH, everything is made by me. Cakes are made to order, whether you require cupcakes for a child's party or the most luxurious of cakes, I will work with you incorporating any element you desire, whilst paying particular attention to style and presentation. Good afternoon,

Congratulations to Jasmine and Victor who got married this week at The Priory Church in Dunstable followed by their reception at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club.

I had the pleasure of creating this beautiful cake for them which was complimented by all the lovely roses surrounding it.

Cake flavours were: Chocolate Orange, Cherry Bakewell and Chocolate Fudge.

I recently created this stunning wedding cake and I wanted to share it all with you ☺️

Here we have a 5 tier cake with some delicate hand piping, sugar flowers and drapes with an arch to show off a lovely topper. This cake has a very traditional and romantic feel.

The cake looked beautiful and added to the stunning decorations at the venue.

Good morning everyone,

I had the pleasure of creating my 2 year old granddaughters birthday cake last week!
She ADORES Peppa Pig so a Peppa cake was perfect for her.

She had Vanilla cake with Raspberry and White Chocolate Ganache filling. The domed tier is rice crispy cake 😋

Congratulations to Kath & Steve who got married on the 30th May at the Old Hunters Lodge in Whipsnade.

Here’s their beautiful wedding I created using fresh white roses and gold leaf. A simple yet stunning cake.
They chose to have a traditional fruit cake for their largest tier, followed by a lemon drizzle and then a chocolate top.

Good Afternoon, hope you’ve all day a great weekend so far.
Here’s a few cakes I’ve created over the last few weeks 🍰

Just a quick note to say that from April I’m having to increase my prices slightly. Yet again chocolate costs have skyrocketed along with the cost of equipment and the cost of living.
I don’t want to use ingredients that will compromise my cakes quality so I hope you can all understand 🙂
