Baker's choice cake ✨️

I love incorporating Asian-inspired flavours into my cakes (yuzu is basically my soul-mate), so the moment I was given free rein for this cake, I went all in!
I toally get why people love familiar, comforting flavours, they’re comforting for a reason. But sometimes, trying something new can be so refreshing! That moment when you take a bite and go, “oh my… this actually works so beautifully together!" That's the moment when I silently scream inside and say to myself "I know!!!" (sometimes not so silently, thehe)

I had a great sell-out day yesterday at and it was genuinely so lovely to see so many of my ex-customers from the cafe!

Just wanted to share how amazing the market was — hats off to the organisers! It felt genuinely community-focused from start to finish.
They were offering chairs, water, tea and coffee to stall holders, which was a lovely lovely touch. Every single one of them walked around chatting to traders and looked after us perfectly. There was also a cute seating area at the back where people could relax and chat and it was nice to see folks enjoying themselves. The stall fee being so affordable makes such a difference for small businesses.

A really well-run, welcoming event—really appreciated all the effort that went into it. Looking forward to the next one guys!
