On Monday 23rd of February, there was a fire which involved our bakery. There has been substantial damage caused inside. The front shop has remained relatively unscathed but the same cannot be said for our stock room, roof and bakehouse.
The team of people that work here have given this business everything. We all work so hard to make sure it’s busy, welcoming and a place where people would like to visit again.
We are/ were, all so beside ourselves when we had seen all of the damage caused with not only the fire and smoke but from being flooded with the water that was used to put it out. There is little that we can physically do now but wait until this damage is repaired. We are desperately trying to avoid being closed for months on end and need to start the repairs ASAP. To do that though, we need help!
