I haven't been making many cakes recently just due to the kids being on school holidays and a lack of time but I did make room to make my nephew and new niece-in-law's wedding cake for this weekend as their wedding gift from us.

The design/decoration was their request.

Bottom tier is a 4 layer fresh lemon syrup drizzled sponge with fresh lemon buttercream.

Top tier is a classic 4 layer victoria sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream.

I was asked to make an 18th birthday cake of Victoria sponge with raspberry jam, vanilla buttercream and white chocolate drip for a real life Rapunzel...so that's exactly what I did!

Just got a message to say 'Rapunzel LOVED her cake'.
