I’m Amanda — the face behind Blush Bakes, professional cake tester, brownie edge thief, and fully committed to the belief that calories don’t count when you bake them yourself.

Blush Bakes Update 🤍

After a lot of reflection, we want to share a small update.

Due to unforeseen circumstances — and some important family considerations that need our full attention right now — our plans to open the new bakery premises will no longer be going ahead at this time.

This decision hasn’t been easy. It’s been made with care, with our family at the heart of it, and with a clear focus on making sure that when Blush Bakes moves forward, it does so in a way that is sustainable, balanced, and right for the long term.

Blush Bakes is not gone — it may just look a little different and take a little more time than first planned. There is no set timeframe just yet, but this is very much a pause to regroup and adapt, not a goodbye.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us, followed along, sent messages, and cheered us on. Your kindness truly means more than you know.

We’ll share updates when there’s something new to tell 🤍

BIG bake day today 😅🔥

The kitchen has been flat out working on a large mixed order, and honestly… the smell alone was unreal.
Here’s what went out today 👇

✨ White Chocolate & Raspberry Cake
Soft vanilla sponge infused with white chocolate chunks, finished with a silky white chocolate ganache buttercream and scattered raspberry pieces.

🌿 Mint Aero Fifteens
A fresh twist on a classic — chocolate biscuits, coconut, marshmallow and mint Aero pieces, topped with milk chocolate and crushed mint Aero.

🍊 Terry’s Chocolate Orange Rice Krispie Squares
Rich, chocolatey, and packed with that unmistakable orange flavour… these never stay around long.

🍫 Kinder Brownies
Gooey chocolate brownies loaded with Bueno chunks, topped with a crunchy Kinder cornflake layer and finished with a drizzle of chocolate.

Days like this remind me just how much I love what I do — early starts, busy kitchen, and boxes stacked ready to go 🤍

💗 A little update from us… 💗

We’ve hit a few unexpected delays (the joys of renovations 😅) so our planned opening on January 1st is no longer possible.

We’re taking a little extra time to make sure everything is perfect before we open our doors.
New date coming soon — we’ll announce it as soon as we have it confirmed!
