Well what an absolutely fantastic Driffield market yesterday sold 48 of our hand made Bakewell tarts, coconut tarts and all the others that we make just in one day, just goes to show what produce locally made by local people can do for a business, now bring on the weekend for Bridlington market on Saturday and then the food festival on bank holiday Monday where i know we sell even more of our hand crafted produce.

You can tell it's Saturday, we're here again at Bridlington Market with all of hand crafted produce from 6 different types of bread, 4 types of breadcake plus a wide range of our hand crafted tarts, cakes and everyones favourites battenburg and the Driffield tart, all made in our bakery behind our shop in Driffield, so pop and see us and treat yourselves.

A few customers have informed us that staff from another local business ( we won't name drop, as it makes us just as bad as them) are spreading rumours about us closing down!! This isn't the first time the same business has done this either 😫

Stunts like this can be very detrimental to small businesses such as ourselves, and for it to be happening again has made us rather upset 😢

So, just to confirm, as things stand, there is no intention of Thorleys Bakery closing down and what you may have heard are just malicious rumours! This has only made us more determined 💪 we will never claim to be the best, but we will always give it OUR best! 😊

We are truly grateful to all of our customers and we would like to say a huge thank you to you for your continued support! 💖 Also a big shoutout to everyone who follows the page, and to those who take the time to like or share our posts, it really does help! ✨️
