October is here and we’re loving the autumn feels 🍂

It’s been a busy week counting down to our (we feel) well-earned week off. We’ve worked every day for the last 92 days and we are cream crackered! (“But you’re only open four days a week!” Yeah yeah, if only that were all we did.)

We’re off to Denmark to catch up with pals, eat someone else’s pastries and fill up our cups.

837. You bought 837 baked goods from us yesterday. Are you serious? 🥹 Thank you so, so much!

837 little brown bags filled with bread, pastries, cakes and sandwiches — eaten in the sunshine, carried around the market, enjoyed with the music, tucked away for an after-dinner treat… or saved for a little Monday breakfast if you’ve got that kind of self-control.

We baked our socks off and you showed up for us. Thank you for supporting Mabel, our traders and the markets we love putting on.

To the traders, volunteers, musicians and local businesses who helped make yesterday happen: you’re absolute stars. We love you all.

SHE’S ALMOST READY! 🚐🥐

Our brand-new electric Mabel-mobile is nearly ready to hit the road — loaded with bread, pastries, coffee and whatever other brilliant ideas we manage to squeeze into her.

Markets! Events! Pop-ups! Breakfast runs! Lunch drops! We’re coming for the lot.

She’s going to help us take Mabel further afield, create new jobs and say yes to loads more exciting stuff outside the bakery.

Just one tiny problem…

She needs a name. Obviously.

Following their success on a Monday, sourdough toasted sandwiches will be on the menu full time! Made to order, eat in or take away!

Sunday sees the return of The Sunday Set! Juice, drink, pastry, toast, granola all for £20 - no bookings, just come along!

And because you’ve been keeping us busy, Mondays are staying for a little longer!
