✨ A Little Message From Us ✨
When we first started this little adventure, we never imagined just how much support we would receive from our amazing community.
Back in April 2025, when we opened our Cake Shed, it was simply a dream that we hoped people would love as much as we did. We remember every single customer who stopped by in those early days, every person who took a chance on us, every kind word, every recommendation, every share, every like, every comment, and every order. Whether you bought a single brownie, a cookie, a slice of cake, or simply told a friend about us, you have all played a part in helping us get to where we are today.
Running a small business is never easy. There are long days, late nights, early mornings, endless baking, cleaning, planning, shopping, and worrying. But what has kept us going from day one is knowing that we have such incredible people behind us.
As many of you know, our little Cake Shed quickly became much busier than we ever expected. What started as a small idea soon grew into something much bigger. Nanna saw the potential and wanted to make it even better for everyone. She wanted to create more space, offer more treats, improve the experience for our customers, and continue growing something that had become so special to us.
So we made changes. We invested in the business. We expanded. We worked hard to make the Cake Shed bigger and better.
Unfortunately, not everyone was happy about that.
As some of you may already know, concerns were raised which meant we had to go through the planning process. To be completely honest, it has been a worrying time. We've spent months waiting, wondering, hoping, and trying not to think too much about what the outcome could be. There have been moments where we've felt stressed, overwhelmed, and uncertain about the future.
But throughout all of it, you continued to support us.
You kept visiting. You kept ordering. You kept sharing our posts. You kept recommending us. You kept believing in us.
And for that, we will never be able to thank you enough.
The messages we've received, the kind comments, the encouragement, and the loyalty you've shown have meant more than you'll ever know. Small businesses survive because of people like you, and we truly do have the best customers anyone could ask for.
Today, we finally received the result we've been waiting for.
After months of uncertainty, we now know where we stand.
