The weather’s actually not looking too bad today, so we’ve got the shed doors open ☀️ But just a reminder — if the doors are shut, we are STILL OPEN! We’re probably just protecting the bakes from the rain because nobody wants soggy brownies 😅

Right, guys… I am absolutely MELTING in this weather 🥵☀️ so if you come up and see the cake shed doors shut today, PLEASE don’t panic — we are OPEN as always! The doors are staying shut so all of our bakes stay nice and safe in this heat because honestly, I think both me and the brownies would collapse otherwise 😂

🇬🇧☀️ BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY & it is BLOODY BOILING 🥵😂

Why are us British people like this?!
All winter: “I just want a bit of sunshine.” ☔
Then the second the sun comes out: “It’s too hot, I can’t cope.” 🫠🤣

Honestly, I feel like I’m running the shed from Egypt today 🌴😂

Just a reminder because a few people still do this…
🚨 THE SHED IS OPEN 🚨
Even if the doors are shut PLEASE don’t assume we’re closed! We keep the doors shut in this heat so all the goodies don’t melt into one giant brownie-cookie-custard soup 😭😂

We’ve got brownies, blondies, cakes, cookies, fridge treats and all sorts of goodies waiting for you 🍪🍫🍰 There’s loads to choose from and plenty for everyone, whether you fancy a little treat or a proper sweet fix 🤎
Everything is homemade, generously sized and reasonably priced — and if you’ve been before, you already know we don’t do boring around here 👏
Also just a little reminder following yesterday’s post about us having to put planning permission in. We honestly appreciate every bit of support more than you know 🫶
One of the biggest things with these situations is concerns around parking, traffic and disruption, so we just kindly ask everyone visiting the shed to continue being considerate when parking and arriving/leaving. Most of you already are amazing with this, and it genuinely helps us massively.
This little shed means the world to us and your support is what keeps it going 🥹 So thank you for continuing to show up, support local and keep us busy every single day.
Open as always — even if the doors look shut, we’re usually still here 😂🤎
