Brookside Bakes by Steve Mercer With life hugely changed by the pandemic, I have decided to stop creating celebration cakes. I also adore making spicy pickles and chutneys.

After 20 years in the British Army, and 19 years in healthcare science, I have finally plucked up the courage to quit the rat race and do something I have a real passion for ....... baking and decorating cakes. After much critical aclaim for my "Maddog's hot chilli relish" I have decided to produce and sell a range of these products. Everything is done with care and attention and using only high quality ingredients.
