Following my previous experiences as a Hotel and Restaurant Inspector, it means choosing places to eat, is a little harder than it might otherwise be- as expectations are high and disappointing food is hard to pay for. To this end people often ask me for recommendations of places I like to go and eat. Here is one of my first favourites and a place that I love to go, in Brighton! It is tucked away in a secluded street, has a wonderful middle eastern inspired menu offering seasonal grazing dishes cooked over fire. The cocktails are creative and interesting, but most notable is the great service which is attentive and knowledgeable, delivering a warm welcome. I definitely suggest you sit at the counter with a great view of the small but busy kitchen.
