Dorchester Abbey Tearoom All the fabulous cakes are made by the lovely ladies of Dorchester and donated to the tearoom.

An army of volunteers work in the tearoom serving tea, washing up and looking after our loyal customers, following in the footsteps of the late Lettice Godfrey.

This is our penultimate tea room weekend of the season! Please do pop in to say hello/goodbye and eat a bit of cake while you're with us
We are constantly delighted by how popular our community tea room has become and our volunteers miss it almost as much as the customers!
Our last day is Sunday Sept 27th and we'll be open again, as always, on the Saturday of the Easter Sunday weekend - Saturday March 27th 2027.

Raspberry & white chocolate ripple cake
4 layers of soft sponge sandwiched with good raspberry jam and white chocolate Italian meringue buttercream then iced with a raspberry rippled buttercream to finish
Italian buttercream is made with egg whites and much less sugar - whipped to give a really smooth finish
Always a winner!
