Peppina was a perfect spot this morning for Poundbury Rotary Club President Charlotte Parsons and Holly Yates from The Island and Royal Manor of Portland Rotary Club to chat about all things Rotary - great to connect and share ideas 💡

Also a perfect opportunity to pick up lunch for our past President Leah’s family picnic!

Last week didn't feel real. 🚐✨
We packed up our freshly restored Vintage Citroën H van and drove it straight into the backstage camping at Camp Bestival, and spent the week living somewhere between dream and disaster.

No sleep. Long, dry, scorching hot days. Trading backstage was tough, proper hard work from sunrise to way past sundown. And somehow, in the middle of all that, moments that stopped us completely: catching the same view as Sara Cox, Kate Winslet, The Body Coach and Dick and Dom, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

It wasn't. It really wasn't.

This is the bit nobody tells you about running a small business: the joy and the pain arrive together, at the same time, in the same breath, and you can't have one without the other. We wouldn't trade a second of it.

Thank you to everyone who found us at the backstage area and made this the week it was. We're still coming down from it.

Last Saturday was something truly special.

For a wedding of 200 guests, we created and served more than 30 different Sicilian sweets and desserts, each one handmade with the care and passion that define our bakery.

This incredible achievement was only possible thanks to an extraordinary team who worked tirelessly, day and night, from production in the bakery to service at the venue. I couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished together.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful couple for trusting us with such an important part of their special day, and an even bigger thank you to our amazing team for their dedication, professionalism, and passion.

This handmade tiramisù cake was created for a couple who wanted something authentic, delicious, and unforgettable on their special day.

Layers of coffee-soaked savoiardi, mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa, finished by hand in our bakery.
