I’ve written a recipe book - 'If it's on a plate'
What began as a Christmas gift for our children, developed over the last year into my first recipe book, full of my cake and family recipes, most of which I've never shared before.
At the start of 2025, it hit home that our children would be the other side of the world for Christmas; with Als & Lottie off on a 18-month working adventure in New Zealand and Mads & Cal taking a six-month sabbatical to go travelling. A plan was made! The idea was a printed notepad of my treasured family recipes to share with them.
The idea grew into this very book. It's filled with family favourites, some of my wedding cake flavours, and recipes collected from our family and friends and the story behind the title; "If it's on a plate". It's been a great year of 'authoring', and I'm thrilled to share my book with you all.
Thank you to my husband, Si, and our friends who have shared some much loved recipes with me to include.
