**TERMS AND CONDITIONS**
By placing an order with Butler's Cakes it is an acknowledgement for the customer agreeing to these t
erms and conditions. If a customer disagrees with any of our terms and conditions then an order is not to be placed. If the order is already placed and the customer declines any of the terms and conditions then the order will be cancelled immediately and any money paid to date will be forfeited. This is to ensure we get it right first time. Let us know as soon as possible, no less than 7 days before collection if any changes need to be made. Certain changes to an already agreed order, may incur additional charges, depending on the change needed. On certain occasions changes may not be accommodated. PAYMENTS
All deposits of an agreed amount between us and the customer must be paid to secure the cake and date. Deposits must be paid by bank transfer and are non-refundable. If a deposit is not received within 48 hours of ordering, we will assume the cake is no longer needed meaning the date becomes free for other customers to book in. Payments for the remaining balance is due by cash, card payment or bank transfer on collection. CANCELLATIONS BY YOU- THE CUSTOMER
-You may cancel at anytime up to 48 hours prior to the collection, however deposits will be lost due to ordering of items for your cake.
- If you want to cancel in the 48 hours before collection 50% of the remaining balance will still be due. CANCELLATIONS BY US- BUTLER'S CAKES
Butler's Cake reserve the right to cancel your order should any of the following apply-
-Due to accident, illness, or emergency and we are legally unable to produce your cake. If for any reason we have no power or in the event of equipment failure, where we are unable to prepare your cake, a full refund will be given.
-If we receive any abuse from the customer or on behalf of the customer. Any money paid will be forfeited and the cake will not be going ahead. COLLECTIONS
All collections must be made on the date and time agreed. If this needs to be changed please give adequate notice and it must be agreed before collection with us. TRANSPORT/CAKE CARE
Upon collection your cake, handle carefully holding the bottom of the box. Then place it onto a flat service in your vehicle- footwell or boot. Seats tend to have a slight slant meaning the cake will not be kept level. Keep the vehicle cool whilst transporting. Keep cake in a fridge and take out 1- 1 1/2 hours before serving and consume cake within 3 days. Once cakes are collected Butler's Cakes hold no responsibility to any damage that may occur during transport and handling. PHOTOGRAPHY
You will receive an image of the cake before collection. At this point the customer should state any issues or concerns so it can be rectified before collection. We may not be able rectify the cake after this time. We share images of cakes onto our page 24 hours after collection unless otherwise agreed with the customer. NON-EDIBLES
Our cakes may include non-edible items, including toppers and non-edible decorations. These items must be removed from the cake prior to cutting and serving. These will be discussed with the customer upon collection. ALLERGIES
We ask all customers upon ordering if there are any known allergies. We also provide allergen stickers on all of our cakes boxes. COMPLAINTS
In the event of a complaint and for a refund to be considered. You must bring back 75% of the cake within 2 hours of collecting. So that we can investigate the complaint further. We may need to share this to our social media platform to get a non-biased opinion on the complaint. We will aim to handle complaints should one arise within 48 hours. Any claim for a refund is automatically void if the customer hasn't transported/stored the cake as per the above terms and conditions. DISCLAIMER
Butler's Cakes are not responsible for any illness/injury/rashes/allergies caused by misuse/abuse/consuming of the cake or additional items once the cake is collected. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Once customers place an order they are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
