A little business update from me…🩷

Due to some recent, unexpected surgery, I’m currently taking some time away from baking to focus on my recovery and getting myself back on my feet.

This means The Cake Shed is temporarily closed, and I’m not currently taking on any new orders via the website for the rest of August and September.

I’ll keep you all updated nearer the time and let you know as soon as I have a clearer idea of when I’ll be ready to return.

I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and I really appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support while I take this time to recover. ❤️

I loved bringing this one to life! I was sent an AI-generated image as inspiration, and this is my take on it.

As amazing as AI can be, the designs it creates aren’t always realistic or even possible to recreate exactly in cake form. My job is to take that inspiration and turn it into something that’s both beautiful and achievable—and I honestly think I did this one justice. 🖤✨

These designs are so popular right now, and it’s easy to see why 🤍

This one was created for a very special 90th birthday, featuring a soft cream, n**e, and gold colour palette 🩷

I even made some ‘fake’ chocolate macarons for the design… and honestly, you’d never guess they weren’t real!

April is almost fully booked but you can book up to 90 days in advance! So get in quick for a May, June or early July celebrations.

There is also last minute options like cupcakes and whole trays of old school cake and brownie that can be collected in the next working day when ordered before 1:00pm! Subject to availability ❤️🧁
