In other news we are pausing our Monday evenings for the next few weeks to accommodate staff holidays.

A proud day today, can’t believe we have a six year old (Scarpello’s 😂)

Thanks to all our staff past & present, friends, families and loyal customers for making Scarpello’s the place it is today. You guys have been cheering us on over the past six years and beyond and your support means the world to us.

For anyone new on here, here is a little summary from the Irish Examiner about us and our humble beginnings….

Scarpello & Co: Embarking on their sourdough adventures in 2010 with a small wood-fired bread oven at their home in Co Donegal, Kemal and Rachel Scarpello have gone on to open a bakehouse and pizzeria in Derry.
Sourdough is still king, with loaves available to buy alongside Neapolitan-style pizza made using a sourdough base.

Anyway that’s enough about us, let’s get back to baking 😉 and hopefully welcoming you back to Scarpello’s sometime soon 🫶

To help us accommodate the team’s holidays during July & August, our opening hours will be slightly later than usual this is to ensure continued bakery & pizza service whilst allowing our small team some well deserved time off during the summer months.
