A little sneak peak of a pretty special wedding cake.. my own!

This was four layers of our favourite flavours;
Banoffee
White chocolate and raspberry
Red velvet
Chocolate fudge

I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted my wedding cake to look (in fact I decided 2 days before the wedding on the final design!) but I knew I wanted a rustic feel with lots of floral elements. I absolutely love the outcome of this whole set up from the flowers that perfectly matched my bouquet to the foliage and tea lights that surrounded the cake which added a soft feel.

It’s been a while since I posted anything cakey on here!

To kick off a busy few months, we’ve got this beauty of a chocolate fudge cake! My new favourite way to decorate a cake is by adding a crumb around the base. It gives it a boost of colour and texture and tastes delicious too!

Keep your eyes peeled for a few exciting cakes I’ve got coming up… including a wedding cake!
