✨ Mimi’s Soul Food Taster Menu Reveal ✨
We’re so excited to share what Mimi's Soul Food and Lounge Bar will be bringing to our Food, Culture & Connection Evening.
This menu is full of warmth, flavour and dishes with story behind them — perfect for a calm evening of trying something new, learning about food and connecting at your own pace.
On Mimi’s taster menu:
🍽️ Sadza
A Zimbabwean staple dish.
🌭 Boerewors
South African and Zimbabwean beef sausage.
🥘 Vegetable Curry
A comforting veggie option full of flavour.
🌿 Creamed Kale
Kale cooked in cream.
🍚 Vegetable Fried Rice
Colourful, tasty and familiar with a twist.
🌶️ Chakalaka
A vegetable relish with onions, mixed peppers, carrots and baked beans.
🥩 Spicy Beef Bites
Spicy beef strips/chunks served with a tomato and onion sauce/gravy.
Mimi’s will also be sharing descriptions of the dishes, a little history behind them and allergen information on the night.
