Julie's Little Cake Company makes bespoke celebration cakes for all occasions. So all your cake requirements are in safe hands.

I've been making and decorating cakes for almost 30 years now, so weather it be a Special Birthday, Anniversary, Christening, Wedding you name it I can create something special for you. I'm registered with Derby City Council and have a 5* rating, fully insured and hold a level 2 food safety and hygiene certificate. As all my cakes are individually priced dependent on complexity of design, cake siz

As we start a brand new year 2025
I have an announcement to make.

I've been thinking long and hard about this over the past few months. I've decided that now is the time to CLOSE Julie's Little Cake Company and give this retirement lark a go!!! 😆

Thank you for your support over the past 10 years. In choosing me to create cakes 🎂 for all your special occasions. For all of your likes 👍 and ❤️ on my cake creations. Also, all the lovely comments you leave have meant the world to me. 🥰

So that just leaves me to wish you all a Happy New Year, and let's see what 2025 has in store for us.

My last cake creation of 2024!

I've made this design a few times now, so you may think you've seen it before.

A Derby County ⚽️ themed cake for Joey's 18th birthday, which was collected on Christmas Eve ready to celebrate on boxing day.

The cake was a rich chocolate sponge filled with vanilla buttercream. Coated in a layer of chocolate ganache before covering in sugarpaste and hand decorating.

Many congratulations to Lucy 👏👏🎉🎉 who had her graduation ceremony this week in Nottingham 🎓

Her mum ordered this special cake with a handmade model of Lucy in cap and gown to celebrate her fantastic achievement.

The cake was a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and white chocolate buttercream.

With Chewbacca, Storm Trooper and Darth Vader.

2 tiers of rich chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream and Darth Vader helmet made from rice krispie treats.

With world map, edible suitcase made from rice krispie treats and edible printed passport.

This weeks cake request was for 'Snoopy playing the piano' 🎹 for Bea's 18th birthday 🎂 🎉

So here is Snoopy playing the piano 🎹 😂
All handmade using sugar modelling paste.

The cake inside was a lemon 🍋 sponge filled with lemon 🍋 curd and lemon 🍋 drizzle buttercream. Coated in white chocolate ganache before covering in fondant sugarpaste and hand decorating.

I'm back creating after a month long holiday touring the US 🇺🇸 and a bit of Canada 🇨🇦 We had an amazing time, saw lot's did loads and ticked things off the bucket list.

So eased myself back in with this autumnal cupcake bouquet 💐 🎃🍂

Loved how this one turned out and so did my customer 💕
