Had the most gruelling, but best weekend!

We smashed it! Cycling 40 miles 🚴‍♀️ around Mount Skiddaw in the Lake District, followed by a 2 mile canoe 🛶 in the lake and finally tackling the mountain itself with an 11 mile hike 🥾 up to the summit and back!

Honestly, I massively underestimated the hiking stage, thinking it would be a walk in the park. Far from it - I cannot believe how long it took to get to the top, above the clouds ☁️!

After 22 miles on the bike, we had a 2.5 mile steep incline, literally non stop up to nearly 4,000 feet!

The team were amazing! The weekend was brilliant and I cannot wait to do this again! Bigger, faster, longer! 🙋🏼‍♂️

We raised £3,500 for Action Medical Research which is awesome! And the whole event raised over £110,000!! Wow 🤩 💰

Thank you to everyone who donated, it meant so much to us!

Only one month to go…

How’s the training going team Inclines And Red Wines?

This time next month the team will be taking part in the dawn to dusk challenge where they will cycle 40 miles bike ride around Skiddaw mountain, canoe a 2-mile course on Derwent Water and finally summit Skiddaw on an 11 mile round trip to an altitude of 931m 😱... to raise money for an incredible cause - Action Medical Research

If you didn’t already know, we are very proud of the fact that me & dee charity are our chosen charity.

It was during a chance meeting that Darren heard the story of local charity me&dee and it was that moment that it was decided.

me&dee help families that are going through the hardest of times via arranging holidays in their lodge, exciting days out and anything that creates special memories. As well as offering extra support in any way they can.

Over the past 3 years we have worked very closely with Maria & Mark and are still continuously in awe of the amazing work that they do, day in, day out.

We have also had the pleasure of meeting many of the families that me&dee support along the way too which makes our partnership and friendship even more special.

If you would also like to help the work that the team do, then please take a look at their website and social pages. You can either donate monthly, offer one of donations, get involved in their events or even share their inspirational posts.

As patrons of East Midlands Chamber - Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire we attended their annual dinner at the brilliant Heathland Grove venue last week.

It was a great evening, firstly hearing from Chamber president Lindsey Williams about the business success and growth over the year as well as the funds raised for the three nominated charities - Focus Charity, Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust & Treetops Hospice 👏

After a fantastic three course meal we heard from Jonathan Van Tam, one of Britains most high profile scientists and leading figures for the UK's Covid response. It was a very enlightening talk that gave a great insight into the pandemic and his role.

A shoutout to Derby College who were our table partners for the evening.

Our sales manager Hugh arranged for the sales team to visit the Xerox Innovation Centre in Uxbridge last week, following a day of customer-led demonstrations here the day before.

The Xerox Innovation Centre has a brand new site in Uxbridge, showcasing the latest hardware and technology from Xerox, helping to demonstrate the innovative technology we have at our fingertips.

A walkthrough of the production print capabilities Xerox have to offer, from 3D Printers with liquid metal (aluminium) which are currently being used by the US Navy ships out at sea, to high speed Inkjet and Laser technology, highlighting the story and eco-system which our small printers and photocopiers follow.

The team were then introduced to the new platform offered by Xerox - CareAR. A solution that is geared up and perfect for engineering and support teams looking to improve their level of support and interaction to their customers and engineers in the field using augmented reality - minimising errors, improving fix times and customer education.

After the demonstrations, the teams were split into three and given real life customer scenarios, where companies have issues within their business, such as translation requirements, error-prone paper based processes and requiring a level of automation to remove bottlenecks from their workforce.

Presenting their final solutions back to the team, proving their knowledge and understanding of a customers pain points, and the technology and expertise that we have in-house to solve these.

For some of the team it was a first time visit - giving them the true Xerox experience and story, right from the start. The others, it was a chance to refresh the knowledge they already harness, reaffirming the need to stay on top of the ever changing technology landscape.

All in all a great day - thanks for having us! 🙌
