Off to the hospital again later today for another appointment… yesterday I was scanned, X-rayed from chest to feet, more bloods taken, and seen by the clinic… today I’m going to be seeing occupational therapy for my hand(s) to see if they can do anything for me too!

Got to admit the last few weeks have been painful and frustrating but I’ve been seen so quickly after referrals… today’s appointment was only referred yesterday so that’s even quicker than expected!

Let’s see what they can do for me today…

Okay it’s late in the day but it’s still the weekend… what have you been up to?

I’ve just got back from attempting to do some shopping with the big one and we had a lot of laughs (and pain) pushing a trolley around Asda - sorry to the people we may have injured on our travels, we didn’t mean harm, we both only have one good hand each right now!

Now I’m chilling at home and relaxing as much as I can… and trying to stay awake 🥱🫩😴

Fancy helping out a small business? I’m not currently able to do my day job due to my hands no cooperating, been back to the doctors this morning and need more X-rays of my hand after more blood tests last week… I am bored at home, but I need to rest them and keep my right in a splint for as long as possible again. Does anyone want to give me something to do at least?

A relaxing Sunday afternoon after having to go and find noodles in Costco… and ended up getting more than just noodles as usual! I did get some free gin samples though 🤣

Who doesn’t love the old games they used to play hour after hour?

I had my Gameboy for years until someone decided they would keep it for themselves after coming to my house to visit me… I had so many games and accessories that went with it too 😭

A few years ago we had a retro game shop in Derby and they had a Gameboy for sale, so I bought it and replaced my Bugs Bunny game. Today I had a delivery of 5 more games to replace some of those taken with my original! The sounds of these games, the 8-bit dot matrix screen, that ding when gameplay first starts…it all brings back memories of opening the best Christmas gift I ever got - the only thing I remember asking for and it was mine!

Hello everyone… sorry I’ve not really posted much recently, I’m not having the best time with my hands.

What originally started out as a ‘sprained’ right wrist has developed somewhat and now I’m waiting for referrals and test results. I’ve been back and forth with doctors, as well as back and forth between almost recovering and able to use my hands to having more swelling, pain and unable to do the simplest of things.

As of yesterday I’m back in a full hand splint on my right hand and wrist, and in my left thumb extremely painful and not working as it should! I’m now on week 4 of doing very little…

So, how have you all been?
