What a day!
After a very busy final day at The Scone Pantry, it’s time for an exciting new chapter as Ye Olde Bakery.

Next week will be spent refurbishing and transforming the shop, ready for our grand opening on Tuesday 16th June at 9am.
Our sourdough starters, Margaret and Stan, are fed, flourishing, and ready to begin producing our handcrafted sourdough breads. We cannot wait to share everything we’ve been working on with you.
Today is a mixture of sadness and excitement. The Scone Pantry has given us so many wonderful memories, but we are looking forward to creating something truly special with Ye Olde Bakery.
Don’t worry though — the most important question has already been answered…
THE SCONES ARE STAYING!
So while our curtains may be closed for a week, we’ll be back before you know it with fresh sourdough, homemade breads, savouries, sausage rolls, cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, brownies, and of course, our famous scones.
Thank you for all your support. We can’t wait to welcome you to Ye Olde Bakery on Tuesday 16th June at 9am.
