this month has been packed with work trips, house renovations, and a serious lack of sleep, but we’ve still managed to squeeze in plenty of fa shops (& a couple of cakes) in between.

every time I post on here, I tell myself I’m going to become that girl who posts twice a day again. but honestly, I have no idea how I ever did that 😂 maybe one day… although probably not anytime soon.

hey, it’s Tuesday so let’s have a catch-up (I hope you’ve got a big mug of tea in hand) :)

life is about to get a little busy, so I’ve spent the past couple of weekends trying to slow things down a bit. I’ve baked a few things just for the sake of baking, spent most evenings chasing sunsets around the countryside with Lottie (we dream about the day we’ll have fields like that of our own), and pottering around country shops with plenty of coffee.

summer is always a little chaotic for me; between work events, trips with friends and family, and trying to do things a bit more intentionally. I’m also counting down to vegetable-growing season too.

so yes, this is a little glimpse of what I’ve been up to outside of the usual work routine. we’re really excited for a spring filled with new adventures 🫶🏻🌼💐🍰

This little one reminds me of the days I would spend baking cakes just to make little tweaks to my recipes. I would truthfully then share all of the pictures without taking any notes and never really know how to make them again.

But spring Mondays that feel like Sundays are my favorite kind of day to potter around the kitchen.

Another one to be added to that book one day 📖🍰
