I’m so excited to share this years Father’s Day gifting boxes with you - bringing back last year’s bestseller.. Giant cookies in our much loved flavour, Sticky toffee pudding 🤤

I’ve also put together ‘The Ultimate Treat Box’ perfect to anyone who wants to try a little bit of everything from brownies to cinnamon buns.

As always, both gifting options are presented in a luxury clear lib box, olive green satin ribbon & a gift tag 💌

NEW BUNKER OPENING! ✨

I’m pleased to announce a second bunker location is opening tomorrow morning at 9am!!

42 Chestnut Avenue, Mickleover, DE3 9FS until 2pm/sell out 🎂🍫🍪🍓✨

Don’t worry - the OG bunker on Langley Country Park is still up and running, this one’s a second location. (You know me, I like to keep my plate overflowing and I promise there’s a reason as to why the new bunker is only a couple of minute drive from the original but I’ll do a chatty stories on that 🫶🏻)

WE DID IT!!! £2398.95 raised for in pretty much 48 hours!! ✨🍾🥂

24 hours in the bakery, over 1200 raffle tickets sold, one sell out bunker and a huge amount of love for the most amazing clients ever!!!

This biggest biggest thank you to each and every one of you!
To every small business and kind lovely person who donated a raffle prize, to everyone who bought tickets, to everyone who checked in on me and sent messages of support to make sure I wasn’t going crazy at 2am and to everyone who bought cakes & bakes!!

My body is still recovering from the bakeathon but i honestly had such a blast doing it!! ✨💖

24 HOUR BAKEATHON 🤩🤩

Sooo..

On Friday 3rd April I’ll be baking for an entire 24 hours to raise money for 🩵

ALL the bakes will be available to purchase from the bunker on Saturday 4th April from 9am with EVERY SINGLE PENNY going towards the charity.

They’ll also be a bunny trail and a raffle from lots of lovely local businesses.

If you’ve enquired about a cheesecake Easter egg I’ll be getting in touch with you asap.. the money from the sales of these will also be going to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Extremely proud to have been given a 5 star hygiene rating by Derby City Council today 🤩✨

Selling cakes isn’t as easy as most people think, having a food business involves a lot of paperwork. Twice daily fridge temperature records, cleaning schedules, having crazy knowledge on allergens (legit spend 4-5 hours a week on allergen labels) and that’s without the baking, the packaging, being on it with social media, the ingredients shopping, chatting to customers and accounts 😄 but I LOVE EVERY MINUTE!! It’s reassuring to know that my EHO is happy with what’s going on behind the scenes at The Bakehouse!

It’s all worth it to have you all as the most amazing clients! ✨

Just me, a sleepy tired baker, and 78 happy mummas 🐝💛

So grateful that my new little bakery was part of so many Mother’s Day celebrations this year. 78 boxes of cake, baked and packed with so much love for all your incredible mums out there.

Thank you to everyone who ordered, supported, shared and trusted me to be part of your day. It truly means the world 💛

A huge thank you to my mum who rocked up with her apron at 6am on her day off to help pack all your afternoon tea boxes 🫶🏻
