It’s Monday morning, Week 4 of the summer holidays… and running out of ideas? 😍
Why not make some homemade biscuits together? 🍪 Simple, fun and you probably already have most of what you need!
🍪 You’ll need:
* 250g unsalted butter, softened
* 140g caster sugar
* 1 egg yolk
* 2 tsp vanilla extract
* 300g plain flour
👩🍳 No biscuit cutters? No problem!
Use a glass, cup or bowl, roll into balls and flatten, make simple shapes by hand, create fork patterns, or make thumbprint biscuits with jam or chocolate.
🍋 Get creative with flavours:
Try lemon or orange zest, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, coconut, freeze-dried strawberries, sprinkles, or melted chocolate.
You could even split the dough and create a biscuit tasting challenge! 😋
