Thank you all for another fantastic weekend. We really do hope you’ve all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend, made the most of the sunshine, and managed to squeeze in plenty of good food, family time, and a little bit of relaxation too.
As always, thank you for continuing to support our little bakery week in, week out. Whether you popped in for a loaf, coffee, cake, pastry, sandwich, or just stopped for a chat, every visit genuinely means a lot to us as a small family business.
We just wanted to give everyone a little notice of a couple of upcoming dates over the next few weeks where the bakery will unfortunately be closed:
📅 Sunday 7th June 2026
I’ll be away on a stag do with my childhood best mate of almost 30 years and the lads. Opportunities like this don’t come around too often, and it’ll be nice to spend some time celebrating with friends I’ve known for most of my life.
🎉 Sunday 14th June 2026
We’ll also be closed as we celebrate our eldest son turning 6 years old with his birthday party. Family always comes first, and these moments are incredibly special to us. I’m still trying to work out how six years have gone by so quickly!
We know closures can sometimes be inconvenient, so we wanted to give as much notice as possible. Thank you all for your understanding, kindness, and continued support — especially during the busy, chaotic, and sometimes challenging weeks that come with running a small business.
You really do help make all the early mornings and long days worthwhile. 💛
