Can you help….? We’re looking for an army of volunteers on a Monday afternoon to get our garden winter ready (with some ongoing help needed throughout the year). The garden is rather choked with weeds, needs a good cut back and tidy but it’s a mammoth task for our small team of staff and students so we’re reaching out to start a regular ‘Feed and Weed’ volunteer afternoon.
You will be rewarded with delicious homemade soup and a roll plus there’s always plenty of cakes and cuppas at the ready along with new friendships to be forged.
Even if you can only manage an hour or two we’d be extremely grateful ☺️

Start date Monday 2nd November 12noon onwards. We expect to finish around 4pm so anytime in between would be amazing!

We have 2 fabulous units available for rent here on the farm which would be perfect for all sorts of artisan crafts. Are you an upholsterer, potter or craftsperson looking for a workshop? There is currently an adjoining door between the 2 workshops so they would suit a business with larger items too as you could rent both!

One of our young students made a fabulous wooden box, (which will become a diorama), so with the help of Deb Jones Willow painting skills, creativity and a few acrylics they created this awesome tray together. Just wait and see how it will look when finished….! 🎃 🧙 👻 We think it’s spooktacular!!

Sadly, we lost our bees in the wet spring but a beekeeper who keeps his bees by the viaduct over the field has restocked us with local honey. We have local eggs, home made elderflower cordial , yummy grains and lots of home baking in the shop this morning, 9.30 till 12.00

We had such a lovely time with our students watching this amazing shearing team give the sheep a well timed trim!
Our students visited the lambing sheds too earlier this year and saw lots of live births! We’re so lucky to have this right on our doorstep and be able to educate young students in the whole farming life cycle.
