It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that as this year closes, we share the passing of our beloved founder, Bill Fleck, who opened the business in 1974. He was not just the heart and soul of this business, but a kind, hardworking man who brought joy to so many through his passion for baking.

Sadly, he passed away on Boxing Day 2024. His legacy lives on in every cake we bake and in the countless memories he created with his customers and community. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years.

As we navigate this difficult time, we ask for your continued support and understanding. Flecks Cakes will remain open from the 7th January, and we will honor his memory by continuing the tradition he started with such care and dedication.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We’ll continue to serve you with the same love and commitment that Bill put into every cake he made.

The funeral arrangements will be shared in due course for those who wish to pay their respects.

This week we are extending our shop opening times and have done everything possible to organise for a quick collection turn around to try to minimise queues and queuing times.

If you are collecting cakes / slices this week please 👇🏻

🌟 wear a mask 😷
🌟 keep a social distance 🧍🏻↔️🧍🏾‍♀️
🌟 be prepared to queue 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻 (we will be doing our best to be quick)

We are now fully booked for 2020 cakes and due to trying to minimise queueing times we aren’t taking any orders this week in the shop. But you can phone or order via our webpage for 2021 cakes (we reopen Tuesday 5th Jan).

SLICES🍰
We will have an assortment of 🍰 slices available for walk-ins or you can 📞 ring and reserve on the day (when they’re gone they’re gone).
