This beauty went out yesterday and I’m slightly obsessed! 😍

A chocolate orange flavoured brownie slab, loaded with pieces of Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Kinder and Kinder Bueno, then finished with a personalised blue fondant Happy Birthday disc 💙🍊🍫

And just a reminder… these can be ordered for any occasion! 🎉 Whether it’s a birthday, celebration or simply an excuse for a seriously indulgent treat, I can create something to suit.

📅 As long as I have availability, around a week’s notice is usually enough for personalised orders.

Fancy a little box of Emma’s Bakes delivered straight to your door? 😍🍫🍪

Orders for this week’s postal boxes need to be placed by 3pm tomorrow (Wednesday) to be dispatched on Thursday — perfect timing for a weekend treat! 🙌

Each box will be packed with a selection of bakes from this week’s menu, so you’ll get a delicious mix of whatever goodies are available. There’ll be brownies, blondies, cookies and more depending on this week’s menu… basically, a box of happiness! 🤤

Just a little note: postal boxes contain a selection from the menu and won’t include cake slices, as these aren’t suitable for posting.

🌞 Happy Tuesday everyone! 🌞

So… who’s excited for the kids going back to school this week? 🙌 And who’s absolutely devastated that the holidays are already over? 😂

I honestly feel like the summer holidays have absolutely flown by! It’ll be nice to get back into a bit more of a routine from Thursday though.

It’s a super busy week for me this week with LOTS and LOTS of baking to get through ready for the Bake Shed to be open Friday from 4pm. I’ve also got a couple of new things joining the menu this week which I’m really excited to get started on 👀🍪🍫

Then on Saturday, I’ll be heading into The Cornmill Centre in Darlington with a whole load of delicious treats! 🧁🍪

There’s a fantastic craft fair taking place with lots of different sellers, including wax melts, crystals, handmade crafts, artists and, of course… Emma’s Bakes! 😍

I’m really looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces there, so if you’re one of my regular Bake Shed customers, please come and say hello! ❤️

It genuinely means so much seeing the lovely faces who regularly visit my little shed, and I’m always grateful for every single one of you who continues to support my small business. 🥰

Well… I just couldn’t do it! 😂

No totally bake-free weekend after all! 🙈

I’m currently in the testing stage of some winter warmer puddings and I had to start with a classic… STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING! 🤎😍

I know it’s technically still summer, but I’m already thinking ahead to those cold, dark evenings when all you want is a warm, comforting pudding! 🥰

So, the BIG question… 👀

It’s been SO lovely to have an actual weekend off! 🥰

No baking, no prepping for baking, no thinking about what needs making next… just a proper weekend with no baking whatsoever! 😂

It honestly feels like it’s been such a long time since I’ve had a whole weekend where I haven’t had something baking-related going on. Even the quieter weekends usually still involve something!

I’ve definitely made the most of it because this week is looking like a busy one… it feels very much like the calm before the storm! 🌪️😂

Here’s where you’ll find me this week:

🍰 Friday: The Bake Shed will be open from 4pm
🛍️ Saturday: I’ll be at the Cornmill Shopping Centre ALL DAY

And don’t forget… the postal boxes are in full swing too! 📦💌

🍫🍪 Sometimes a slab just needs a little something extra! 🍪🍫

One of my lovely customers ordered a Kinder slab but decided she wanted a few extra treats to go alongside it, so she added some cookies to her order too! 😍

And honestly… I think this is such a great idea! ❤️

If you’re ordering a slab for a party, family get-together, birthday or just because you’ve got a lot of hungry people to feed, why not add a few extra cookies, brownies or other treats to make the box go even further?

Because let’s be honest… can you ever have too many treats?! 😂
