The fabulous Franki at Goosepool Bakes is over at Middleton in Teasdale today with all her delicious pies and pastries plus some cheeky scones supplied by your very own. These are cheddar and wild garlic. Would anyone be interested in some if I was to make more? I could do a bundle of 4 with mixed flavours 🙂

Hi everyone. I appreciate it’s been very quiet on here for a few weeks. I wanted to just pop on here and let you know why.
On Thursday 5th March my lovely mum, Caroline, passed away. I know I spoke to a lot of you about my reasons for stepping away from baking and one of them was so that I could spend more time with my mum as I had been so distant in the previous year. Although much briefer than I ever expected I was able to visit her most weeks and be there for her in her final days / hours.
It’s very bittersweet today given that it’s Mother’s Day. So I urge you to call, visit or send a message to your mum today and let them know they are loved 💕

Who is interested in bread storage bags? I’m looking at a £5 RRP on these currently. I have some mockups on order and if the quality is good they will be in the shop. These are a great way to keep your sourdough loaves fresh with a reusable / washable bag 🙂
