Tomorrow’s market is cancelled! We will be back next Saturday at Cwmbrân Big Event 🍪🤩

❗️ Cwmbran Market – Saturday 6th June CANCELLED ❗️

After reviewing the latest forecast, we’ve had to make the difficult call to cancel tomorrow’s market.

Wind gusts are predicted to reach up to 39mph, and our safety guidelines and insurance only permit us to trade up to 35mph. Anything above that becomes unsafe for everyone on site.

High winds at this level can cause:

• Gazebos to lift or collapse, even when fully weighted
• Stock to blow, fall, or become airborne, risking injury
• Damage to equipment, traders’ displays, and the surrounding area

Your safety — and our traders’ safety — will always come first. We know this is disappointing, but it’s the right call for everyone’s wellbeing.

I love the sunshine and I love the Saturday markets… but for us bakers, the two do not mix 🙈😂

I’ll be doing my absolute best to keep everything cool, there will be as many ice packs as i can mange so I can stay out for as long as I can - but once the stock starts melting, it’s heading straight home to the fridge 🫠😬

So if you’re planning to grab some weekend treats, PLEASE come early. Get your cookies while they’re perfect, then go enjoy that gorgeous afternoon sunshine ☀️

☀️ We’re back after a week away! ☀️

Straight back to work and then evenings getting prepped for this weekend’s market 🍪

As much as I’m loving this sunshine, I’m really hoping it cools down a bit for Saturday… cookie pies and caramel millionaires do NOT thrive in a heatwave 🙈😂🫠

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the forecast, but if you’re planning to pop down for cookies, make sure you come early — I’d rather not end up with a puddle of melted stock 😂

Can’t wait to get back to it! We always like to switch it up so there will be some regulars and as always some newbies 🙌🏻
